Alvin Lehrer is a general practitioner at
the firm, providing continuing administrative services to a large group
of accounts at the firm. A seasoned financial and accounting specialist
with over 35 years in public accountancy, Alvin did his post graduate studies in Chartered
Accountancy at McGill University from 1969-1973 and qualified as a
chartered accountant in 1973. He became a partner at
the firm in 1981.
Alvin
performs a range of duties for the firm's clients including auditing and
public accounting functions, preparation and presentation of financial
statements, corporate taxation and professional
development. He is also involved in tax planning and analysis of tax
assessments, and has become a specialist in the areas of government
grants, estates of deceased individuals and clearing estates. Alvin
will also work with clients to solve accounting problems and is
responsible for file review and all preparation right up to the
financial statements. Corporate clients include companies in the
high-technology and pharmaceutical sectors.
