In his capacity as partner Mark Freedman has a wide range
of accounts at the firm, providing the benefits of his tax knowledge and
financial experience. He obtained his diploma in Chartered Accountancy
in 1993 from McGill University and was admitted to the Ordre des
comptables agréés du Québec in 1994.
Mark applies his expertise
in virtually all areas of the firm's accounts, assisting the tax
division, providing audit, valuation, litigation, IPO and
investigation support. He assists with issues such as taxation,
transfer pricing between Canada and the U.S., as well as project cost
management and cash flow management. His role brings
him in contact with private and public companies in a variety of industries including information
technology, manufacturing, software development, electronics, importing,
textiles, retail, mining, real estate and investment.
Thoughts
on finding the right answersMark believes that the firm's strength
really comes down to providing clients with the right answers. "Client
support involves a lot of hand-holding and personal contact, and we are
